I have a few different types of pets. I have mice, rats, and a couple of royal pythons. My ratties are wonderful. I've had boys in the past and have some rattie girls right now. Rats are very social and affectionate, and have personalities like dogs and cats do. We play hide and seek and I give them special treats on occasion. With mice you can't differentiate the personalities as well as with rats, and mice are seldom kissers, but the less timid ones sure do like to climb up your arm. My snakes are very intelligent for reptiles. They let me know when they're hungry or want to come out and play. Very low maintenance.
