Pets are ? Being an only child I was fortunate to have many pets in my life. At one time I thought about becoming a vet. I worked for a vet one summer and decided that I could not put healthy animals to sleep. Lived on a island for 13 year's and basically had to train myself as a large animal vet. The closest equine vet was a ferry ride plus an hour's drive away. Have always had dogs mostly minature schnauzers. I currently have an australian terrier who is a pet theraphy dog.
